Women in Consulting Announces New Advisory Board
San Mateo, CA – May 6, 2004 – Women In Consulting (WIC), a Bay Area umbrella organization of seasoned professional consultants, announced today that nine prominent business leaders have joined the organization’s first advisory board. The advisory board’s charter is to enhance WIC’s marketing efforts as well as enhance the board of director’s efforts to connect members with the resources and information they need to accelerate their consulting practices.
WIC's new advisory board members include:

- Susan Burnett, senior vice president, talent attraction & development, The Gap, Inc.
- Mark Cannice, Ph.D., associate professor of entrepreneurship, and director and founder of the Entrepreneurship Program, School of Business & Management, University of San Francisco
- John Eggen, publisher, Mission Marketing
- Kathy Gogan, vice president, marketing, Responsys,
- Vickie Mitchell, senior manager, Business Advisory Services, Grant Thornton
- Denise Peck, vice president, marketing operations, Cisco Systems, Inc.
- Margie Roelands, senior director, enterprise marketing communications, Adobe
- Bette Young, director, human resources, WJ Communications
